About the Knights
The Knights of Columbus is a global Catholic fraternal organization, founded in 1882 by Blessed Father Michael J. McGivney in New Haven, CT. Today, the organization has nearly two million members participating in over 16,000 local councils worldwide.
Dedicated to the principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism, the Knights of Columbus organization seeks to empower Catholic men to live their faith at home, in their parishes, at work, and in their communities.
