Help save Cay Galgon Life House!

Recently, Governor Shaprio stated his intention to cut all funding to Real Alternatives, an organization that provides life-affirming pregnancy and parenting support services. Real Alternatives empowers women to protect their reproductive health, avoid crisis pregnancies, choose childbirth rather than abortion, receive adoption education, and improve parenting skills.

Real Alternatives, through Pennsylvania’s Pregnancy and Parenting Support Services Program, has administered funding to over 80 centers throughout the state–including Cay Galgon Life House in Bethlehem, which we have enthusiastically supported for many years. Funding was cut because these centers do not provide “female reproductive services”, an indirect reference to abortion. Reimbursements are due to end on December 31, 2023.

As faithful Catholics, the members of KofC Council 15188 ask for your support to get the message out to our legislators that the decision to cut the funding for Real Alternatives made by Governor Shapiro needs to be revisited, revised, and reversed.
